Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


Crew will work to lay more pipe and do encasement E6 between MH E18-19. 
7:56am- blocks are being placed for grade on pipe in area of 20’ encasement E6 this morning. 

9:37am- encasement rebar is now laced and tied and awaiting concrete now. Equipment will track up to bridge to haul back bucket loads of concrete to place on pipe. 

10:14am- concrete begins. 

11:13am- 9 yds now placed. A call back is needed to finish it out. 

12:30pm- encasement almost complete. More pipe is being laid as crew awaits more bucket loads. 5 joints now placed so far today. 

1:14pm- concrete now done. 

1:20pm- digging out for MH E19. 

4:00pm- MH E19 now set and 8th joint for today goes in leaving E19. 

5:00pm- crew laud 10 joints today total.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:20am- equipment will be moving back up to MH E44 area to begin line work again today.  8:68am- crew still moving materials closer to MH E44 area.   9:45am- tops and covers going on manholes previously set as they climb towards MH E44.  10:50am- now back to digging upstream of MH E44. 11:19am- 1st joint of pipe for today so far! 11:56am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  1:15pm- #3.  2:23pm- more gravel is getting moved closer to area of work.  2:41pm- 5th joint so far getting gravel.  3:31pm- digging for #7 now.  3:50pm- gravel going on #7.  5:00pm- went to lower field on Rittenhouse to look at dirt leveled out last week near MH A6. Owner not happy. Wants more work to be done says it dry enough… After driving through it.  Sent picture to FlatCreek so that they can schedule it this week hopefully.
