Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


7:50am- Crew is back laying line at STA 66+51. Encasement E-09 will not be installed due to the depth of the line with the ground flattened out and instead a double layer of rip rap will be placed here per the Engineer. 

9:25am- 4th joint of the day is now placed. 

10:45am- 5 joints are laid as rock is being broke out for MH E23. 

12:54pm- crew is now setting MH E23 base with 5’ section tying into the 6 joints laid so far today. 

Line is lamped by laser back to MH E22.

2:25pm- two section now placed on E23 and transit set up for alignment to E24 being done now. 

2:51pm- graveling for 1st joint out of E23 now. 

3:28pm- rock will need broke out now. 

4:56pm- 3rd joint out of E23 for a total of 9 joints + 5’ for the day. Backfill will round out the day.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:20am- equipment will be moving back up to MH E44 area to begin line work again today.  8:68am- crew still moving materials closer to MH E44 area.   9:45am- tops and covers going on manholes previously set as they climb towards MH E44.  10:50am- now back to digging upstream of MH E44. 11:19am- 1st joint of pipe for today so far! 11:56am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  1:15pm- #3.  2:23pm- more gravel is getting moved closer to area of work.  2:41pm- 5th joint so far getting gravel.  3:31pm- digging for #7 now.  3:50pm- gravel going on #7.  5:00pm- went to lower field on Rittenhouse to look at dirt leveled out last week near MH A6. Owner not happy. Wants more work to be done says it dry enough… After driving through it.  Sent picture to FlatCreek so that they can schedule it this week hopefully.
