Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


6:45am- Blasting crew is back to begin blasting in area of MH E1- E6. Flatcreek crew will be bringing equipment from E33 area this way to start laying pipe. 

9:43am- more manholes now unloaded. 

10:22am- well the Blasting company is taking a different approach to all the creek gravel…
11:15am- Crew is now backfilling behind where the Blasters are working so that they can begin digging to lay pipe. 

12:54pm- pipe is now getting moved down line towards E1 location. 

2:30pm- Opened E1 manhole to check to see of plug was still in place after close proximity of blasting. 
Looks good. Not leaking.

4:15pm- area now backfilled back to E1 fromE3 location. 



4:35pm- pipe is getting moved now to roadway from under bridge so that lasting can continue once they get that far.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:20am- equipment will be moving back up to MH E44 area to begin line work again today.  8:68am- crew still moving materials closer to MH E44 area.   9:45am- tops and covers going on manholes previously set as they climb towards MH E44.  10:50am- now back to digging upstream of MH E44. 11:19am- 1st joint of pipe for today so far! 11:56am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  1:15pm- #3.  2:23pm- more gravel is getting moved closer to area of work.  2:41pm- 5th joint so far getting gravel.  3:31pm- digging for #7 now.  3:50pm- gravel going on #7.  5:00pm- went to lower field on Rittenhouse to look at dirt leveled out last week near MH A6. Owner not happy. Wants more work to be done says it dry enough… After driving through it.  Sent picture to FlatCreek so that they can schedule it this week hopefully.
