Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


7:10am- crew will work to get MH E34 set today and do more slope anchors along with two trench seals at MH’s E32-33. 

8:00am- 1st joint going for today. 


-delay in post due to Phase 1 issue at MH E16. Pictures and video taken and posted on “TEAMS”. 

10:43am- 4joints set and MH E34 is tied into line. 


Line is also lamped by laser back to MH E33. 

12:10am- two joints now placed upstream of MH E34. 
Also the last slope anchor is tied up and ready for concrete on the run from yesterday. 



1:35pm- 6 joints in place so far today. A 7th will be placed as crew awaits concrete. 1st new slope anchor for today is also being tied for the run above E34. 

2:45pm- concrete has finally arrived today. The last slope anchor#9 for 33-34 run has begun. 

2:55pm- Finished. 

3:05pm- 1st slope anchor above MH E34 now getting concrete. 

3:23pm- finished. 

3:38pm- trench seal on MH E33 side almost finished. 

4:31pm- trench seal on MH E34 side is now completed. 

Crew will round out the day with wrapping and strapping of MH E33.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:20am- equipment will be moving back up to MH E44 area to begin line work again today.  8:68am- crew still moving materials closer to MH E44 area.   9:45am- tops and covers going on manholes previously set as they climb towards MH E44.  10:50am- now back to digging upstream of MH E44. 11:19am- 1st joint of pipe for today so far! 11:56am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  1:15pm- #3.  2:23pm- more gravel is getting moved closer to area of work.  2:41pm- 5th joint so far getting gravel.  3:31pm- digging for #7 now.  3:50pm- gravel going on #7.  5:00pm- went to lower field on Rittenhouse to look at dirt leveled out last week near MH A6. Owner not happy. Wants more work to be done says it dry enough… After driving through it.  Sent picture to FlatCreek so that they can schedule it this week hopefully.
