Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


11:00am- crew is at MH E1. Manholes are moved for E2,3,&4. The big Sycamore tree is going to have to come out now. 



11:25am- crew exposing MH E1 stub-out pipe. 

12:56pm- 6” pump now set up in MH E1 with plug on downstream side. 

2:14pm- alignment now done to MH E2 location and 4” pump now pumping. 

Grading for 1st joint of pipe now occurring. 

3:06pm- more water than pumps could handle! Excavator finally made it to the blasted ditch and opened up the 1000’ French drain!!!

3:30pm- getting aligned back up in order to get second joint placed yet today. 

4:43pm- 2nd joint now placed. 

4:55pm- both joints now getting graveled up. 

5:05pm- backfill will round out the day here.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:20am- equipment will be moving back up to MH E44 area to begin line work again today.  8:68am- crew still moving materials closer to MH E44 area.   9:45am- tops and covers going on manholes previously set as they climb towards MH E44.  10:50am- now back to digging upstream of MH E44. 11:19am- 1st joint of pipe for today so far! 11:56am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  1:15pm- #3.  2:23pm- more gravel is getting moved closer to area of work.  2:41pm- 5th joint so far getting gravel.  3:31pm- digging for #7 now.  3:50pm- gravel going on #7.  5:00pm- went to lower field on Rittenhouse to look at dirt leveled out last week near MH A6. Owner not happy. Wants more work to be done says it dry enough… After driving through it.  Sent picture to FlatCreek so that they can schedule it this week hopefully.
