Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


6:55am- crew getting set back up to begin laying more pipe today. 

7:35am- digging is now underway. Crew will place another rebar cage encasement near MH E2 as concrete will occur  this afternoon on both encasements. 

7:50am- joint #1 going in now. 

8:54am- #2 going in. 

Delay in posting due to start up ar LS6 Branson Creek Ph 2. All went well!

11:25am- cage is placed under joint #4 today with 5th joint ready to go in. 

11:45am- top cage in now and getting tied to bottom cage. 

1:30pm- 6th joint placed as crew digs for setting MH E2 now. 

2:46pm- MH E2 is set and stacked. 

Concrete also going in on both encasements now. 



3:27pm- line from E2 back to E1 is lamped by daylight. 

4:19pm- concrete is finished on the one encasement closest to MH E2. 

4:56pm- 1st concrete encasement now almost completed. This will round out the day with wrapping and strapping on E2.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:20am- equipment will be moving back up to MH E44 area to begin line work again today.  8:68am- crew still moving materials closer to MH E44 area.   9:45am- tops and covers going on manholes previously set as they climb towards MH E44.  10:50am- now back to digging upstream of MH E44. 11:19am- 1st joint of pipe for today so far! 11:56am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  1:15pm- #3.  2:23pm- more gravel is getting moved closer to area of work.  2:41pm- 5th joint so far getting gravel.  3:31pm- digging for #7 now.  3:50pm- gravel going on #7.  5:00pm- went to lower field on Rittenhouse to look at dirt leveled out last week near MH A6. Owner not happy. Wants more work to be done says it dry enough… After driving through it.  Sent picture to FlatCreek so that they can schedule it this week hopefully.
