Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


Crew will unload manhole at the top and bring it down to MH E10 location. It will be manhole #45 that has con-shield in it. It was the only manhole scurlock had that would work at this location. A new manhole will be made for E45 later on. 

8:31am- a full joint minus the bell is now placed to accept what is now MH E10. 





8:45am- line is lamped by laser back to MH E9. 

9:47am- MH E10 is stacked and alignment to MH E11 location is done. Rock breaking continues. 

11:47am- 2 joints out of E10 now for a sum of 3 total for the day so far. 

1:37pm- 4th joint now placed. 
2:56pm- 5th joint of the day getting placed. 

4:30pm- #6 has landed!

4:57pm- hammer going back on to break rock to round out the day.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:20am- equipment will be moving back up to MH E44 area to begin line work again today.  8:68am- crew still moving materials closer to MH E44 area.   9:45am- tops and covers going on manholes previously set as they climb towards MH E44.  10:50am- now back to digging upstream of MH E44. 11:19am- 1st joint of pipe for today so far! 11:56am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  1:15pm- #3.  2:23pm- more gravel is getting moved closer to area of work.  2:41pm- 5th joint so far getting gravel.  3:31pm- digging for #7 now.  3:50pm- gravel going on #7.  5:00pm- went to lower field on Rittenhouse to look at dirt leveled out last week near MH A6. Owner not happy. Wants more work to be done says it dry enough… After driving through it.  Sent picture to FlatCreek so that they can schedule it this week hopefully.
