Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


7:22am- FlatCreek crew will grout the last manhole on the project today, MH E48. Then they will be cleaning up project site. 
7:45am- Ace Pipe is back onsite today starting at MH E24 heading to E26 where we left off last week. 

8:26am- camera at E26. Mandrel to be pulled back to E24 now. 



8:40am- camera and mandrel now at E24. 

8:55am- crew now entering MH E21 to head upstream to E24. 

9:30am- camera taking mandrel back downstream now towards E21 from here at E24. 

9:45am- mandrel passing through E23. 

9:53am- passing through E22. 

9:58am- arriving at E21. 

10:18am- now at MH E19 heading upstream to E21. 

10:37am- now at MH E21 with camera. Mandrel to be attached and pulled back to E19. 

10:46am- mandrel passing through E20. 

10:52am- MH E48 now grouted. All manholes are now grouted. 

10:56am- mandrel now back at E19. 

11:23am- now at E16 headed to E19. 

12:01pm- camera now at E19. Mandrel will be pulled back to E16. 

12:06pm- mandrel passing through MH E18. 

12:14pm- making drop at E17. 

12:31pm- mandrel now at E16. 

12:59pm- crew at E14 now headed back to E16 with camera. 

1:54pm- Camera now at E16 to take mandrel back to E14. 

2:08pm- mandrel passing through E15. 

2:20pm- mandrel now at MH E14. 

2:33pm- crew now at MH E12 going to E14. 

3:05pm- camera at MH E14 pulling mandrel back now. 
3:24pm- mandrel now back to E12. MH E13 was bolted down so I couldn’t get a picture of it passing through. 

3:37pm- FlatCreek crew is going in MH E13 to retrieve some silt material we spotted during camera work. 

3:53pm- got it dragged back from near 150’ up pipe. 

4:04pm- crew mow entering MH E14. A bit of standing water I want them to look at. 


Only about 3/4” for first joint or so.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:11am- Crew is back today to lat more pipe and get MH E40 set.  8:33am- 2 joints have now been placed this morning.  10:03an- 5 joints now placed and digging for MH E40 is next.  11:10am- grade is checked at MH E40. 2” low.  11:50am- MH E40 is now tied to line with a 12’ piece of pipe.  Line is lamped back to E39.   This picture is from MH E39 looking downstream to MH E38 today. I forgot to post it yesterday.  1:57pm- 1st joint placed upstream of E40 now.  3:34pm- 3rd joint upstream of E40 almost ready to go in for a total of 10 joints so far today.  4:29pm- joint 11 goes in.  5:05pm- high rock is encountered. Jack hammer will be put on for first thing in the morning.
