Turkey Creek Ph 2 - Interceptor


Ace Pipe crew to be here today to try and finish up camera and mandrel work. 
7:50am- Ace Pipe has worked up the courage to cross the creek now! Headed to MH E11. 

8:05am- in at E11 headed to E12 to get mandrel. 

8:46am- FlatCreek crew now at MH E12 to hookup mandrel due to creek being up to high at this crossing. 

9:02am- mandrel now at MH E11 from E12. 
9:12am- camera will go in at E9 now and go back to E11. 

10:19am- camera now at E11. Mandrel will be pulled back to E9 now. 
10:51am- now going in at E7 heading back to E9 with camera. 
11:17am-camera now at MH E9 from E7. Mandrel will be pulled back to E7 now. 

11:32am- Mandrel now back at E7 from E9. 

12:14am- camera going in at E5 headed to E7. 
12:27pm- camera at E7 now. Mandrel has to be taken apart to get it into pipe for pulling back to E5. 
12:58pm- Mandrel now back at E5. 
1:13pm- Ace Pipe is calling it a day due to rain.

7:33am- crew will be testing line from E46-E47 today first thing. Test will begin shortly.  8:03am- line now on test from E46 - E47. Approximately 68 min test.  9:10am- lune passes air test from E46-E47.  9:45am- MH E46 passes vacuum test.  11:25am- crew now testing line from E48-E47. Approximately 25 min test.  12:10pm- line from E48-E47 passes air test.  12:16pm- MH E47 passes vacuum test.  1:05pm- line now on test from E48- E49. Approximately 70 min test.  2:18pm- line passes air test from E48-E49.  2:35pm- MH E48 passes vacuum test.  4:08pm- through bleeding off the air from the line test and test balls, crew is picking up on possible sewer gases. They are investigating downstream to MH E1 where the air up ball is placed to ensure it is sealed up against the pipe, thus preventing and sewer has to travel up the line.  No more testing to be done today.

7:11am- Crew is back today to lat more pipe and get MH E40 set.  8:33am- 2 joints have now been placed this morning.  10:03an- 5 joints now placed and digging for MH E40 is next.  11:10am- grade is checked at MH E40. 2” low.  11:50am- MH E40 is now tied to line with a 12’ piece of pipe.  Line is lamped back to E39.   This picture is from MH E39 looking downstream to MH E38 today. I forgot to post it yesterday.  1:57pm- 1st joint placed upstream of E40 now.  3:34pm- 3rd joint upstream of E40 almost ready to go in for a total of 10 joints so far today.  4:29pm- joint 11 goes in.  5:05pm- high rock is encountered. Jack hammer will be put on for first thing in the morning.
