3439_Turkey Creek PH2 Interceptor

More pipe laying will occur today from STA 74+30 approximately.  8:39am- 2nd joint so far today.  9:47am- 3rd joint laid.  10:49am- 5th joint getting placed.  12:21pm- joint #6 for the day now.  1:31pm- 7th joint now placed as rock breaking picks back up today.  2:22pm- #8 now getting gravel.  3:24pm- 9th joint placed and more rock will need to be broke out along the pipe at the wall. Light rain also begins.  3:43pm- heavy rains starting. Crew calling it a day!

7:47am- Crew is back laying pipe and will be at MH E25 today setting it.  8:53am- 2nd joint getting gravel.  10:34am- 4th joint being placed.  1:08pm- MH E25 is almost ready to set. Crew will move manhole upstream about 9.5’ to help clear the vertical rock wall adjacent to the dig line.  2:00pm- MH E25 base now set with another full joint connecting it to the line. 5 joints laid so far today.  Line is also lamped by laser back to MH E24.  3:00pm- MH E25 is stacked up now as alignment to MH E26 takes place with transit.  3:51pm- 1st joint now laid out of MH E25. 6th joint for the day.  4:50pm- crew has laid 8 joints total for today. Excavator will move to begin backfill. 

7:07am- The excavator is headed to the top to unload manholes first thing.  8:55am- crew has laid one joint now for this morning so far.  9:51am- joint #4 getting lowered in now.  11:11am- 5 joints laid with a little rock breaking now taking place.  12:43pm- still on 5th joint, but graveling for 6th due to excavator having to go back to the top to unload more manholes being delivered.  1:56pm- digging is going good. Crew has now laid their 8th joint so far while rains continue to fall.  2:06pm- crew is done laying pipe in the rain for today. Excavator will continue to work backfilling whats been laid. 

7:10am- crew is back to lat pipe at MH E24 location.  8:54am- MH E24 base now set with 1hount tying it to the line.  Line for s also lamped by laser back to MH E23.  10:11am- 1st joint out of MH E24 and aligned for next run. 2nd joint for the day. 11:06am- grading out for the 3rd joint of the day.  12:52pm- joint #6 placed.  2:42pm- 8th joint set and rock breaking picks back up.  4:31pm- 10 joints have now been placed today.  5:00pm- 11 joints now laid. Crew will wrap up and call it a day. 

No work today due to rain. 

11:25am- through the mud and muck, pipe laying continues today. Crew approaching STA 70+00. 4 joints laid so far this morning. More rock breaking occurring.  12:02pm- joint #5 getting graveled up.  1:05pm- still having to break rock... 1:35pm- #6 headed to the ditch.  2:07pm- 7th joint now in as rock breaking has gone away now. This would have been the beginning of the 20’ encasement area, but again, due to top ground grade change, the engineer has allowed a double layer of rip rap instead of encasement.  3:30pm- 10th joint for the day now.  4:12pm- rain falling with 11 joints  laid for the day. Crew is at MH E24, but will dig to set it tomorrow. 

7:20am- Crew is s back laying pipe today again starting at STA 67+61.98. 12:25pm- delay in pictures due to meeting with Brad W/TCRSD meeting at LS4 and going to look at Laytons property and the grass issues.  Crew has wrapped MH E23 and will strap it here shortly. Also only 4 joints have been laid because of breaking about 2’ of rock as they go.  12:55pm- MH E23 now strapped.  2:30pm- 6 joints now laid so far today.  3:35pm- joint #8 going in.  4:45pm- digging to lay joint #10 for the day!
