3439_Turkey Creek PH2 Interceptor

8:08am First joint for the day heading out of E03 2nd section of pipe going in for the day wrapping and strapping sections of E03. Third section of pipe in for the day. Forth piece of pipe in, wrapping and strapping second to last section of  E03 Fifth stick of pipe in for the day Continue to excavated for pipe installation. Installation of pipe # six Installation of pipe 7 and 8. Everything is going well Flat Creek finished the day out with 9 installed sticks of pipe, E03 complete wrapped and strapped, back filled site.

7:40am- Crew is placing the necessary 20’ of pipe and rebar cages this morning for encasement E03.  -delay in posting due to discussion with about creek crossing and length of encasement, amount of concrete, etc…over-blasting and possible negative affects it would have; increased concrete usage etc… 10:14am- 4th full joint now placed. A 6’ piece was added to the first joint this morning to allow for the encasement.  10:29am- concrete has finally arrived onsite for encasement E03.  10:44am- almost done. A call back for more concrete is needed.  12:00pm- 5th full joint now placed and rest of the encasement is now completed.  1:22pm- 6th joint now getting placed.  2:26pm- trying to get MH E3 area dug out. Banks keep falling off… also having pump hose issues at this time.  2:52pm- MH E3 getting measured out for pipe now.  4:00pm- MH E3 is set and stacked as wrapping begins.  Pipe laid so far today is 101.5’ and E03 encasement.  4:33pm- line ...

6:39am- blasting crew are just across creek digging to set pump so they can continue blasting.  Flatcreek crew will be continuing to pump water and attempt to lay more pipe today! Pumps ran all night, but still can not get water level any lower at this time.  Gap in time due to manholes being unloaded at the top.  8:46am- crew looks over creek are trying come up with a plan of attack.  10:51am- 1st joint finally in place, now more rock breaking occurring… Another load of manholes were delivered at the top and were unloaded.  12:35pm- still on 1st joint as jackhammered rock is now getting removed.  Lee Schofield came by this afternoon to see job site and go over things with me for covering on Thursday.  2:10pm- 2nd joint in for the day as more rock continues to be broke out.  3:00pm- pump has to be moved on up ditch. Still on 2nd joint.  4:08pm- 3rd joint in now as the rock breaking ends.  5:10pm- blocks are getting set for encasement E03...

6:49am- crew has a-lot of water in ditch this morning. Blasting crew has shot across the creek over last Friday and Saturday it appears. 8:42am- still pumping water… 11:05am- 1st joint finally going in! 1:30pm- 3rd joint in place as more dozer work is being done around MH E2.  3:08pm- 4 joint in now as more rock will need broke out. 4:23pm- still on #4. 5th joint for the day should get placed… 4:57pm- both 6” and 4” pumps running and can not keep up with water. Crew will continue to work fighting the water to attempt getting the 5th joint laid for today. I will be headed offsite.
