3439_Turkey Creek PH2 Interceptor

7:07am- crew is back at MH E51 to get manhole set and begin laying pipe today.  7:34am- crew is leaving this manhole(E50) here at E51 location due to the original E51 manhole not getting back here until later today.  There is a difference of 4” and 2* in maholes.  Line is lamped by laser back to MH E52.  9:25am- graveling 2nd joint now out of MH E51.  10:44am- 5th joint laid just after tunneling under culvert.  11:54am- 7 joints placed with newly built MH E50 arriving onsite.  1:12pm- grading gravel for #9.  3:46pm- 152’ of pipe is laid so far today tying manhole E50 to line. Crew will get aligned to MH E49 now.  Line is also lamped by laser back to MH E51.  4:39pm- breaking rock for 1st joint out of E50.  5:14pm- barricades are up for the end to the day. 

8:00am- another manhole is arriving this morning and crew will unload it and possibly use it here at MH E51 location. There is only a couple degrees different in flowline angle. Crew was originally going to grout today, but then manhole was in route.  9:11am- manhole E50 is unloaded and is getting test fit to pipe at E51 location. Crew has decided to wait on another manhole for E51 location to be built.  9:44am- crew returns back to grouting jere at MH E20. All grouting downstream from here is complete except for MH E2.  11:44am- crew is finishing up MH E20 grouting and will call it a day. 

7:04am- MH E52 is now here and crew will setting it this morning.  8:17am- grade is shot for placement of MH E52. Manhole will be moved upstream 3’ so that a partial joint wont have to be used for tie in.  8:23am- 1st joint of the day goes in so that MH E52 can get set.  8:59am- MH E52 now set and line is lamped by laser back to MH E53.  9:45am- alignment to MH E51 is underway.  10:29am- 1st joint downstream of MH E52. 2nd for the day.  11:46am- joint #5 for the day going in now.  1:06pm- #6 now placed.  2:36pm- #9 is in and now digging for MH E51.  3:34pm- crew thinks there may be an issue with the gasket here on MH E51.  4:25pm- crew has decided not to set manhole E51 until Scurlock comes out to look at it. Crew has placed barricades and widened roadway for traffic to pass. This will round out the day here. 

No work today due to MH E32 not being onsite- crew will now work on Friday to make up day. 

7:07am- digging teeth are getting changed out first thing this morning. More pipe to ho in as crew will be approaching MH E53.  8:39am- 1st joint placed as crew shoots grade for MH E53.  9:20an- MH E53 base is placed and line is lamped by laser back to MH E54.  10:41am- crew prepares to cut bell off pipe to begin laying from MH E53 downstream.  12:21pm- 4joints now placed.  2:16pm- 7 joints now placed as crew approaches MH E52 location.  3:14pm- 9 joints placed today. The crew will stop laying pipe due to being at MH E52 location and they do not have the manhole here. Cleanup of roadway and area will round out the day along with barricading ditch.  3:35pm- Barricades are up. 

7:02am- crew will be laying more pipe today, hopefully arriving at MH E54 by end of day.  9:07am- digging at MH E54 area now with the 2nd joint of the day now placed.  10:23am- gravel is leveled for MH E54 base with 3rd joint set.  11:12am- MH E54 base now set and tied to line with a 9’ piece of pipe.  Line is also lamped by laser back to MH E55.  12:41pm- alignment to MH E53 is done as digging is back underway.  1:20pm- pipe now in downstream of MH E54. 5 full joints now laid.  2:49pm- 8 joints now laid. Dirt has changed and is easier digging this afternoon.  4:02pm- 10 joints placed.  4:50pm- 11 joints and the crew will clean up roadway to call it a day.
