3439_Turkey Creek PH2 Interceptor

7:32am- crew is getting MH E37 ready for a vacuum test as well as more line testing to be done today.  8:02am- MH E37 passes vacuum test.  9:03am- MH E38 passes vacuum test.  9:30am- line now on test from MH E39-E38. Approximately 95 min test.  11:09am- line has failed air test from E39-E38. Crew will begin process of figuring out whats wrong.  11:46am- crew has sprayed soap and checked all fittings and have concluded that maybe its just a pressure drop due to line temperature fluctuations. Air test is back underway again for approximately 95 min.  1:09pm- a leak in the return line has been located and the crew has cut it out and done a repair. Line back under test again from E39-E38. 95 mins.  2:45pm- line now passes air test from E39-E38.  4:41pm- crew still bleeding air from air test earlier. No more test will be done today.

Crew will be line testing here at MH E37 area until weather hits.  7:51am- line now on test from MH E37- E36. Approximately 46 min test.  8:39am- line passes air test from E37-E36.  10:12am- line now on test from E37-E38. Approximately 95 min test.  11:38am- calling the test as passing due to weather. Heavy sleet falling for last 30mins or so.  Crew has called it a day. 

10:51am- crew is grouting this morning. MH E30 is grouted now and working on E31.  11:08am- MH E31 now grouted.  12:52pm- MH E32 now grouted.  1:46pm- grouting on MH E33 begins.  2:24pm- about finished with E33 now.  4:18pm- MH E34 is now grouted.  Crew will clean up tools and call it a day by the time they get out to Carlton rd. 

Crew will begin testing again from MH E36 area.  8:45am- crew has pulled test balls from E36 area and brought them to MH E27 to begin manhole vacuum testing to get caught back up with the line testing.  8:59am- MH E27 passes vacuum test.  9:29am- MH E28 passes vacuum test.  9:52am- MH E29 passes vacuum test.  10:16am- MH E30 passes vacuum test.  10:50am- MH E30 passes vacuum test.  11:47am- MH E32 ring and lid leaking. Not pulling vacuum. Crew working to fix it.  11:54am- MH E32 now passes vacuum test.  12:52pm- MH E33 passes vacuum test.  1:19pm- MH E34 passes vacuum test.  1:55pm- MH E35 passes vacuum test.  2:16pm- line test getting set up for E36-36 run.  2:30pm- issue with test box today… leaking pressures off lines.  2:35pm- line now on test from MH E36-E35. Approximately 22min test.  2:56pm- line passes air test from E36-E35.  3:30pm- MH E36 passes vacuum test.  Crew bled the line and moved test ...

Grouting will resume today at MH E26.  7:43am- culvert at MH E32 will need to be covered back up so crew can get to MH E26 area. Excavator will used to do repair once it is started.  8:16am- crew now at MH E26 to continue with grouting.  10:19am- crew still working on E26. With everything being so cold, its taking longer for grouting to set up.  11:11am- MH E26 is now grouted.  12:37pm- some gravel and grit materials will be cleaned out of next manhole.  2:11pm- MH E28 now grouted.  3:37pm- crew working on MH E29.  4:02pm- MH E29 now grouted. Crew will get things picked up and make way back to Carlton through the mud.
