3439_Turkey Creek PH2 Interceptor

Crew will be working in MH E34 area today once manholes are unloaded from truck at the quarry then hauled down to line.  8:11am- preparing to unload and haul manholes down to line area.  10:26am- back to laying pipe where they had left off at 2 joints above MH E34.  11:15am- 1st joint of the day now placed.  1:10pm- 2nd joint now in with 3rd getting graded out and where next slope anchor will be placed.  2:28pm- 4th joint placed.  3:56pm- 6 joints placed with 3 open spots for anchors that need to be created yet.  5:00pm- 7 joints set today. This will round out the day. 

7:15am- encasement E-04 will be covered today and more digging to lay pipe on upto MH E10 area leaving a gap so that the upper portion of the line can be “flushed” out.  8:28am- 1st joint of the day now placed.  9:39am- 3rd joint of the day going in.  10:42am- crew has stopped laying pipe for today and will be going back to manholes to finish setting tops and lids today and backfilling.  1:57am- JWX is onsite today spreading seed and straw.  2:20om- crew still installing tops and lids.  4:53pm- crew is moving things back to other end of job now (E33 area) so that work can start back up there. This will round out the day. 

6:58am- crew will continue with pipe and encasement work here at E-04.  8:07am- crew will now be moving the last two joints placed yesterday due to a rolled gasket.  8:42am- 3rd joint back has to come out. Its where the bad gasket was at.  9:07am- new joint getting installed back now.  10:53am- so, after a long morning the 1st new joint of the day is set.  Dirt work under the bridge is back underway today also.  1:10pm- 4th joint placed for today and final top cages going on pipe for encasement. Concrete to be jere at 3pm.  3:10pm- 6th joint placed for today and still awaiting concrete.  3:45pm- concrete begins.  4:33pm- This will round out the day here. Concreting will continue. 

7:24am- alignment from MH E12 to E13 had to be done first thing due to the transit tree falling over from the weekend. More pipe will be placed today.  8:10am- joint #1 for the day.  -delay in pictures due to touring previous job sites.  11:05am- 4th joint placed so far this morning.  MH E12 is getting wrapped and strapped.  1:00pm- 6th joint placed.  1:58pm- #8 is set. No rock breaking occurring today! 3:17pm- joint 10 is in and crew preparing for encasement section.  5:15pm- #11 is  placed on blocks with half cage ready for  more pipe and cages first thing in the morning. 

7:04am- crew will be breaking rock out for MH E12 today and finish placing concrete for reat of encasement.  8:25am- creek channel is getting put back this morning to allow natural water flow again.  11:44am- creek channel is almost done.  MH E12 getting prepped to go into hole.  12:57pm- MH E12 now set and connected to line with one full joint.  Line for is lamped back to MH E11.  1:47pm- MH E12 is checked for grade on inlet side of MH E12 and its 3” low.  2:46pm- backfill up-to manhole 12 is now underway.  3:48pm- 1st joint out of MH E12 now in place.  Gravel also going in.  4:57pm- 2nd joint now in for a total of 3 today. This will round out the day.
