3439_Turkey Creek PH2 Interceptor

Crew will work to lay pipe today.  8:00am- equipment getting fueled now that the creek crossings have been traversed.  Lid to manhole E17 is getting set.  8:37am- digging to lat 1st joint and to get ligned up for next run from E18.  10:10am- 1st joint placed and aligned. Gravel now being placed over pipe from yesterday.  10:32am- MH E17 getting wrapped and strapped.  11:00am- 4th joint going in now.  12:00pm- crew has decided not to dig anymore due to encasement that needs to be done. Rain is in the forecast on Sunday and they don't want the mud and silt to enter ditch.  I will be headed offsite. 

Crew will be attempting to lay pipe today if they can maneuver in the mud.  8:55am- crew will be laying pipe. I will have to end up riding down in the haul truck later today for inspection. They will keep sending pictures to me as they progress. 1st joint placed so far today.  9:35am- 2nd joint in place.  3:19pm- 9th joint laid as backfill begins. Area for MH E18 also dug out at this time.  4:55pm- MH E18 ready to slip onto pipe now.  5:03pm- line is lamped. 

No work today due to rain-

Line work will continue today as crew will be approaching MH E17.  7:20am- top is being placed on MH E16 first thing this morning.  8:30am- 1st joint now placed.  10:23am- joint 6 going in now.  MH E16 has been wrapped and strapped now.  12:57pm- MH E17 base is now set with 102’ od PS46 pipe laid.   E17 - E16.  2:36pm- now headed out of MH E17.  4:50pm- crew has laid 170’ of pipe today and set MH E17 base; being about 4 joints upstream of the manhole. 

Crew will be working on roads until MH E16 shows up from Scurlock.  10:05am- new manhole is onsite for E16. Looks right this time. Crew prepares grade to set base again.  10:22am- base now set.  11:00am-1st joint out of E16 getting placed. 11:30am- joint #3 going in.  1:45pm- 10 joints are now laid.  3:04pm- joint #16 going in now.  4:06pm- #20 getting gravel.  5:05pm- 24 joints laid today. 

No pipe work today again. Roadways to be cleaned up and made accessible after all the hauling of materials. The new MH E16 to be here on Monday. 

More clearing to occur today along with materials being hauled to bottom area from backside of quarry.  11:12am- gate now up at entrance off Branson Creek Blvd.  12:26pm- blasters are drilling near MH E27 area today. 

Pipe laying picks back up today. Crew has laid two joints from MH E16.  9:20am- well, crew is now pulling out the 6 joints laid today back to MH E16. They did not check the flow line to ensure manhole was made right. The flow line is backwards with a 1.5” difference.  Wire is being pulled from under the gravel and removed.  Right hand side of picture is inlet side.  9:55am- MH E16 now removed.  Crew will send rest of the day moving manholes and clearing more of R.O.W.   1:03pm- gate going in off of Branson Creek road for access to project so that they can start closing off area again.  2:38am- more wrapping and strapping occurring today. 

Crew today will be hauling gravel, pipe and manholes and staging them all day. Pipe laying will resume tomorrow. 

Crew is back laying pipe today.  8:02am- grading gravel for 3rd joint.  9:33am- joint 6 is now placed.  11:30am- joint 11 is now placed as crew is almost at MH E16.  1:05pm- joint 12 is laid and digging to set MH E16 now.  3:05pm- crew back to setting manhole abd shooting grade. Excavator had to go unload manholes at quarry.  4:31pm- 13 joints laid and MH E16 base is set. Gravel backfill and next run setup will round out the day.  MH E16 to E15.
